Equipped with the modern gadgets of latest technology like Teacher and Student Consoles, Headphones, Audio-Visual Aids etc.; language laboratory exposes the students to the second language and provide them various opportunities to speak, comprehend and internalize English language like its native speakers. The emphasis is laid on learning the nuances of pronunciations, stress patterns, intonation and accent to endow students with such accomplishments as would augment their speaking skills and confidence to confront interviews and group discussions for various jobs and higher studies
The software installed in Kerala Govt. Polytechnic College, West Hill, Kozhikode is DLM-Digital Linguistic Mentor which has been procured from Thaliyola. DLM provides a user-friendly language learning platform. Every user has a unique log-in ID and profile that is password protected. It can accommodate 20 students at a time and provide adequate facilities for effective teaching and learning of various aspects and skills of English language.
